The new CANobserver enables both physical and logical long-term monitoring of all CAN bus networks. The device can be permanently integrated into the network and will continuously monitor data transfer while recording the errors.

Intermittent negative impacts or slowly deteriorating signal quality can be detected by the physical layer diagnosis and logical frame monitoring in a timely manner. The CANobserver is able to notify the system operator before communication errors occur.
